Ultimate Drum Play-Along: Pink Floyd DVD and 2 CDs 
This Drum Play-Along package consists of a book and two CDs featuring nine classic songs from the classic band Pink Floyd. Whether you're a fan of the band and/or of Nick Mason's drumming, you'll have a blast shedding the transcripts in the book while playing along to the included audio CDs. And that goes for drummers as well as guitar, bass, keyboard, and vocalists too because the drum charts contain both lyrics and chords too! There are two versions of each song on the included CDs and two ways that you can play the CDs. When played on a dedicated CD player, you'll hear all nine songs minus drums on CD 1 and you'll hear the same songs with drums included on CD 2. If you choose to play the CDs in your computer, either Mac or Windows, the disc will automatically bring up the ultra cool TNT "Tone 'n' Tempo Changer" player. This is definitely the most fun part of this package and the most educational. It allows you to change both the key of the music and the tempo (from 50% to 200% of the original) plus it lets you create loops wherever you want them in a song. At the same time, this is where I feel this package could use a bit of refinement. When played on your computer using the included TNT player, both discs include exactly the same content. They both allow you to mute the drum track for practice and they both contain the same versions of the songs. What they refer to as the "Full Performance" CD, when played on your computer using TNT, is no different regardless of which disc you play. Another thing that didn't thrill me is the fact that there are no lead vocals included even on the disc that is specifically titled "Full Performance." I contacted Alfred and expressed my concerns and only time will tell if this will remain the same in future products using the TNT system, which I really think is an incredible tool that is capable of so much more than it is currently being used for. The nine songs featured in this package are Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2), Comfortably Numb, The Fletcher Memorial Home, Have a Cigar, Money, See Emily Play, Time, Wish You Were Here, and Young Lust. Bottom Line: Pink Floyd Ultimate Drum Play-Along Book and CDs The TNT "Tone 'n' Tempo Changer" software, which requires no loading and works on either Mac or Windows computers, is a fantastic practice tool. This package is not only perfect for pop or rock drummers wanting to learn how Nick Mason and the band Pink Floyd created so many hit songs over the years but, because the of charts that include the song chords and lyrics, it's perfect for guitar, bass, keyboards, and vocalists to use too! All musicians who want to improve their chart reading skills or just plain have fun getting creative with the classic songs of Pink Floyd will have a blast with the help of the ultra cool "Tone 'n' Tempo Changer."
