I play in an industrial band where I have to play to a click track and sequencers. Right now I have a wedge monitor blasting at me but am curious about in ear monitors. I would like to know which are the good models and if they isolate good enough to cut through a very loud group. Thanks Eric

Use the Bose system. It may be a little pricey but in the long run your ears will thank you.

I'd like to get some in ear monitors as well but I've heard horror stories about bleeding ears due to the feedback of inept soundmen. Anyone had any major problems?

I have a few friends that are professional musicians and they swear by Westone's ES3 custom fit ear monitors . They work very very well . They're a little pricey but who can put a monetary value on their hearing . You do have to get used to using ear monitors at lower volumes so you don't destroy your hearing .

I don't think I could ever play live anymore without my "in ears". In fact, I'm not sure how I ever did it before?
