Re: :O!

I'd also like to hear TB's view on the 2nd finger fulcrum, as I use it myself. Although my grip slides around depending on what I'm doing (matched/trad/2nd finger/1st finger). Bill mentions it as being an advanced technique. I'm guessing that it shouldn't make too much difference.. as long as its 'tension free'!

[edit] Oops I finally did it.. I replied to the wrong thread - oh well its still related!

Here's some more feedback on TigerBills DVD:

- ordering it was a breeze; it arrived in like 3-4 days in my mailbox

- I liked the presention; it felt like a one-on-one lesson. Bill explained everything clearly and concisely, and put the right emphasis on the key points. So many drum videos just brush past stuff and you're always wanting more explanation! Or even worse; those drum videos that lack any kind of explanation.. so in that respect I'd give it 10/10.

- at the start and finish where TB plays on the Pintech e-kit; I'd really like to hear TB wind out on acoustic drums - I'm a bit of a purist that way! ( I understand the point of course - the 'future of drumming' and all that. I just hope that in the year 3000 I'll still be able to sell my killer acoustic kit for a bundle! (and that human aging can be prevented)

- Overall: thumbs up!
