Hello
I use Simple Green. It takes off almost anything and does not harm the wrap in any way. I have black wrap sets from Ludwig Slingerland and Rogers.
As a good way to reduce dust buildup I use car wax. Make sure it is carnuba based as I have found this the best at letting dust slide off.
To clean and maintain your Chrome I use Mothers Chrome and Aluminium Cleaner. It is a great product. I do suggest care in applying it to hardware still attached to the drums.
