It's probably a good thing I only just discovered this thread. Just read all 10 pages of it. Got pretty heated at times. (Got ME pretty heated at times). I'm surprised it wasn't administratively deleted. I got into trouble at another site for posting MUCH tamer debate points. It's good to know there's quite a bit of tolerance here for opposing political viewpoints. Good job to all participants. And I'll leave it at that.

Wow! I haven't looked at this thread in over 2 years. I see a creature who calls himself ALS has had a few unkind comments to make about me no less that 6 months after my last post. Perhaps ALS suffers from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis ("ALS"), and is extremely bitter about it. If so, I can understand his bitterness, and I'm very sorry for that. What I won't tolerate is his blithering stupidity.
ALS, it works like this, there are 2 kinds of republicans: (1) idiots, and (2) crooks. You would be an idiot, a dupe, and a dope. You are a fugitive from evolution. The scum that you vote for (like the draft dodging cowards Bush and Cheney), and fight for (like the fascist corporatists Exxon and Haliburton), those would be crooks. Conservatism is institutionalized stupidity. You are the epitome of a conservative. You and your dim witted, pea brained kind will be consumed by evolution soon enough. Goodbye, and don't let the door hitcha where evolution splitcha!
