This video is really good. It is definitely a bargain @ the price and offers many great tips that echo what can be found here.
Johnny, like TigerBill, is into leaving a space in your hand between the thumb and pointer finger, and uses American Grip, which I recently switched to and have had nothing but greater stick control and playing ease.
It is funny without being too cheesy and definitely goes by fast.
He goes into grip, seat height, snare drum height, finger control, wrist techniques, and some great exercises.
He also stresses that different things work for different people and what you choose to use is all a matter of personal taste.
Since I am a matched grip player, I didn't mind that there was no coverage of traditional grip, but for you others that do play traditional, I just wanted to mention that.
For those of you into the "open-close" technique, he also has a really cool variation on it that I will try once I get the basics of finger control down.
All in all, one of the better videos I own, and a valuable addition to your arsenal.
My favorite thing about it is that it stresses comfort and control over speed for the sake of speed.
This is my 1st real review, let me know what y'all think. I can also recommend Tim Waterson's video, but I imagine that his upcoming video will be even better.
And, obviously, when TigerBill's video comes out, get that one too. I'm getting the first one, but I'm sure he'll have enough to go around hehehehe.

Ahh, I finally see that when you said review, you meant in this forum. I was looking through TigerBill's website
anyways, this video sounds like something I really want to check out now. I;ve been experimenting with different hand techniques based on combination of books and videos (like Dom Famularo's "It's your move" and other videos... like joe morello's natural drumming lesson and jim chapin's video). And this video you're talking about seems to be just right up my alley of more inforation.
How detailed does he go into the actual hand positioning, etc.? My main concern is, I want to be able to see him play from a top down view so I Can see how much of an angle he has and whether his palms are facing the floor or sideways?
Thanks
