I have had a cymbal company contact me about endorsing their cymbals on our upcoming tour. They told me they were the best. I thought ya ya ya I've heard this song and dance routine before. They told me how they were hand made from Master Cymbal makers in Istanbul Turkey and were hand hammered and hand lathed. I told them ok ok send me one and I will try it. After telling them what I wanted to compare I had them send a cymbal comparable to my very best and favorite Z Brand crash cymbal. The Next couple days a 20" crash arrived at my door. I was blown away when it blew away my finest crash cymbal. That cymbal had sounded so good and had been my favorite. I was sad because it had been an old friend but better is better. I called them back and ordered a ride compliable to my best ride. Again when it arrived I was again flabbergasted when it blew my best ride away leaving it in the dust. As of this writing I am replacing all my cymbals with Turk Masters Cymbals and have agreed to endorse their cymbals. Since then they have made the light medium 20" special Crash A signature crash named after me! It is The Turk Masters 20" Light Medium Danny Meazell Signature Crash. I do not make anything off this. I endorse the Turk Masters cymbals on their own merit. They sound like the old Turkish made hand hammered Z brand cymbals.
This is my review of Turk Masters Cymbals. By the way, they are going into the studio with me for our upcoming album.
