208 pages in a soft covered pocket sized book with heaps of quality black and white photos it has main chapters on The basics, Hardware, Creating your sound,Practical gigging. It is not a book about drums but a book about basic knowledge of band gear set ups and getting ready for a gig.
Covered are choosing and using p.a, mixing, lighting, safety, setting up for a gig, pleasing an audience etc,etc. Written in a logical and humoured tone any drummer will benefit and get something out of it.(even if it is to not show ignorance when sound men start talking watts, amps and eq etc. Would rate 4 out of 4 for a gigging drummer or any muso starting up a band.
