Hello, Yoong -

I'm not sure what you're asking. If you're asking what mallet percussion is, it's the "keyboard" percussion - marimba, vibraphone, xylophone, glockenspiel (orchestra bells), chimes...I guess we could include pan (steel drums) on that list. Bill decided to create a new forum on this site, dedicated to these instruments, since these instruments are really a different "animal" compared to drum set and snare drum.

Is there something specific you'd like to know?
