I am looking to buy a new xylophone. The two that I have looked at online are the Musser M51 and Vancore. I have played on a Musser, but I don't know much about the Vancore. I was wondering if anyone out there has played one and could give me their opinion.

I have not played a vancore xylophone, but I have played on their marimbas. I like them a lot and am impressed with the workmanship.
What to advise you on your purchase depends on the use of your xylophone. Since you're looking at the Musser 51, which is a synthetic bar xylo, are you going to use this outside? If so, opt for the moto-cart. I would also check out the Ross synthetic instruments. The founder of Ross used to work for Musser, so the bars are very comparable in the synthetics, at a better price.
