Beginning Teaching
      #28501 - Sun Dec 28 2003 10:52 PM (199.64.0.252)

I have a couple of naughbors who bought there kids drum sets for christmas, so I went and set-up all there kits for them, now they want to pay me for lessons, I want to do this, but where do I begin??? Having never takin lessons I'm not really sure where to start. I showed them the basic 4/4 beat with one on the bass and 3 on the snare. But I know I can't just keep showing them different beats. They're all pretty young and get frustrated easily so I'm worried that trying to give them theory as far as showing them how to read drum charts are going to scare them off.
Any advice or links on teaching drums would be greatly appreciated.
