hi, im just wondering what your choice of hi-hats would be for a fast-pop-punk drummer. i'd like to try out some but i don't have any real drum shops close by. I know that the zildjian z custom cymbals are built for heavy hitting, so i'm considering looking into getting some of the z custom hi-hats. I'm also wondering about the zildjian A customs. what is the main difference between zildjian A and Z customs? thanks

The Z's are the heaviest overall series, designed generally for the super-hard hitters. A Custom, while certainly having some powerful cymbals in it, tends to be a more versatile sound palette.
You might do well to check out the Zildjian website. Go to their Artists Setups page and see if you can find some guys you are into and see what they are using.
