I am looking for any input on chorale mallets. I have been using Nanae Mimura's line from Encore so far. I like these, I just wish they were heavier. I am not in a hurry to replace my current set, just wondering what other people are using.

I've got some Balter Universal Series mallets that I use for chorales on marimba (disclaimer: I'm a Balter endorser), and I'm very happy with them, but I have to say that I also really like the Encore 44YB mallets. (At least, that's the model number stamped on the handle - I bought them years ago, and I don't know if they're still in the Encore catalog.) Wonderful feel/balance, great tone, and enough weight to provide a full tone.
I haven't played the Nanae Mimura mallets, so I can't say how those would compare to mine.
