I started drumming in July and I'm not very good. I play quads in marching band and I've played regular percussion for 7years. July was the first time I started to play set though.
I like to play metal, which really is more like listening to metal while I attempt to play the double bass parts. My hands are a lot better than my feet, and my quest to get them up to speed is what led me here.

welcome Colin. you've found the right place,i learn alot from reading the post here on this forum. just stay relaxed and your feet will catch up with your hands. everybody else here are smarter than me, so lisson to them! good luck man.
