This is a CD on the Higher Octave Music label. IT may not even be on the shelves anymore so the best way to obtain it is probably through www.cyberoctave.com I would think. Each piece is named after a great drummer of the past but is not representative in any way of the music those drummers was noted for. Watts and Keltner got together in France. Charlie with his kits and Keltner with his gear including his electronic samples etc. There are guests galore on this album and it's not one of your pop rack droners in the least. It is two drummers getting together and creating something that is definitley not any type of mainstream music. It's recorded in such a way that you can put it in the phones and create another part of your own, or, as a listener you can just sit back and be at times, amazed. In my humble opinion, anyone who holds a pair of sticks in their hand should have this piece of work in their listening repertoire. Because that is what it is. A piece of artistic, focused and very important work for anyone who plays the drum set or percussion. If you haven't heard this CD and you obtain it, approach it with an open mind and be prepared to go on a true rhythmic and groove based journey that you may never come back from.
