Well, when we are knee-deep in snow and blizzards here you'll be enjoying the sun. Alistaire. I'll tell you one thing. The economy is like a wet noodle here but one thing has improved. The playing venues. People are going out to hear live music and staying put when they get there. I guess it's becoming too expensive to drive around all over the place and go to different venues for the listeners. They are picking their venue and enjoying the whole night.

And long may it continue - and let's hope DJ's and drum machines go the way of the dodo! (although they won't, it would be nice for us )

Not sure about the other guys - but I've been away for awhile on purpose. Just got a little tired of the same topics - "who's better..." "look at this you tube post"...etc. I'll log again for awhile and see what's going on.
I know - I'm as guilty as anyone else for not posting thought-provoking topics. I don't post frequently - only when I feel I have something constructive to offer. Maybe its my age or just becoming more cynical, but I find that most of the forums as well as the mainstream magazines keep recycling the same material over and over. And no, I don't have a solution.
