Very fast. Smooth and solid as a rock once you get used to their pedal board design. It took me a few minutes to get used to the bass being in the middle but it made it much easier for three rack toms right up in front of me which is what that backline supplied kit had. 8,10,12. The feel of the pedals was basically, that they literally became my feet. Sonor has always been an extremely fast pedal anyway and these ones were equipped with strap drive. The double chains were sitting down on the floor beside the pedal frame in case I wanted to change. I sort of questioned the double connector rod set-up for about four tunes but after that I had no worries for the next five hours. I was however glad to get back to my own set-up the next day with my Janus transmission set-up, because I still had to do some reaching with my off-foot to run the hi-hat pedal and the cowbell pedal off to the left. I'm a rightie. I could see that if I had one of those Sonors I would have to mark the connector rods L and R or I'd be in trouble on a quick set-up on smaller gigs.
