As awfulldrummer said. Take pictures. I was there with the retail boys for their drumming school and therefore I was doing business for them. Got to meet a lot of people important to my playing career and also caught up with quite a few cats I knew in the playing game. Don't expect to get much sleep. Ask a lot of questions and keep your ears open.Concentrate on the drumming and Music end of things and avoid a lot of the parties which can take away from the learning curve. This is because the event is for manufacturers to sell their products to retailers. I am going to call Mark from MRP and get the skinny on what I should be doing out there. He is the one that invited me.
