INTRODUCTION
MY NAME:Peter L Jones MY LOCATION: London, UK MY OCCUPATION: IT Professional MY BAND: I wish... MY WEBSITE: www.drealm.info MY FIRST INSPIRATION: Cozy Powell MY INSPIRING/FAVORITE DRUMMER: Couldn't say: I don't end up listening to good drummers but to good music. At least, that's my excuse for a lame answer If I had to name one name it would be Cozy Powell (and Dance with the Devil), as above. About half my music collection is Marillion and Ian Mosley is a good drummer, too - really plays for the song. And then there are the drummers on some of my jazz CDs that just blow me away... MY MUSIC STYLES: Outshoots of 70s rock/prog/metal/blues/folk/etc MY SUPPORT/MENTOR: n/a MY STORY: I had an acoustic kit years ago... briefly. Living in a terraced house, that's not a good thing: the house is too small, to start with. (Noise wasn't so much of a problem: the motorway outside was usually louder.) So I gave that up for... a few years. April 2007 I got myself a birthday present of a TrapKAT: cuts down the space and noise (we've moved to a nicer area...). Still getting to grips with everything all over again. I'd had a few lessons first time around and I can read music and charts sort of okay-ish... Since I started jamming on NINJAM, I've rather dropped any formal practice regime, though. However, I'm playing better each week, I reckon, and playing with other people is brilliant!
MY PICS - GEAR - AUDIO/VIDEO
Nice carpet... That's my TrapKAT, control switches (red), a couple of kick triggers, hihat pedal and an FCB-1010... things have moved around a bit since to make it more comfortably. I've also got an Evolution MK-249(2). Entirely MIDI-based.
MY AUDIO My soundclick site has some really boring stuff on... But my NINJAM jams gets regularly updated with recent jam sessions.

I think you must have missed the option. You should be able to Edit your own post! Let me know if, for some reason, you can't and I'll look into it.
Thanks!

I can now. It wasn't there earlier. I checked after I'd posted, too. My reply had the "Edit" but the original post didn't. Weird! :)

This is an edit (through the NINBOT editing interface) of a NINBOT recording of a live NINJAM jam (on the NINBOT server). Copyright (C) 2008 the performers and licensed under Attribution, Noncommercial, Share Alike Creative Commons License v2.5.
NINBOT Player link: Sunday Afternoon
Direct link: Sunday Afternoon Format: MPEG Audio Layer 3 44100Hz stereo 128Kbps Length: 6 minutes, 54 seconds (um, in bytes? no idea...)
Stream: SundayAfternoon.m3u
I'm playing drums (TrapKAT, Kontakt2, ns_kit7). Not sure who else was playing what.
If you can get past the somewhat in need of a tune clarinet (nice tone, though, which is why I left it in the edit), this is a really mellow session. It's about the only NINJAM session I've enjoyed enough to play back several times. Was really good fun playing at the time, too.
It's always amazing when listening back to a NINJAM session that sounds this good to remember none of us could hear the others playing at the same time - but four bars (in this case) behind. (It's also a good excuse for being out of key ;).)
