I've gotta say, I am now a PDP convert-great sound, great look. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease. Mine are the CX's in White Marine Pearl. I am using Evans G2 coated on all the toms, Evans EMAD on the bass, and Aquarian coated on the snare. They are a great deal for the money. I heartily recommend them. It is a LX in a lacquer yellow wood finish. T am using Remo Pinstripes on the toms and coated ambassador on a Tama 14"x8" Superstar deep snare that I bought in the early 80's. "Keep Rockin on them." The MX series. Felt and played just like the DW drumworks series of a few years ago. Fact is the students I taught at that time ended up buying them off me and at the moment I'm using ddrum acoustic maples. Same kind of feel. It pays sometimes to look at the side lines in drums.
