Greeting drumheads, it's Xmas holidays and as we laze about in the sun here in New Zealand (nowhere near Australia) it's time to catch up and wind down some. Some may remember (i think last post was around 2007) me an early contributer to the site, and i loved every minute of it, and having a look around while i'm here, is still one of the best out there. I'm still playing drums and having fun with it, actually it was having a re-look at Tiger's DVD today that inspired me to drop in. Time to frequent forums still not a priority for me, i think it was Roger that said something like, you get to a stage where you have bag full of chops enough to get you through what you are doing and any more can be too much, and that is where i'm at. I have a stack of instructional books, cds and dvd i have yet to get through, but just too busy with family and getting band songs off to get into them. Any learning drummer is so lucky these days with the information at their wrist and finger tips these days. Tiger Bill's i would rate as one of the best to definitely get into that chop bag along with the JoJo Mayer DVD. Both have been helpful.
For now i leave again and wish all Drumheads and Tiger Bill the happiest drumming wishes for the upcoming New year. Best Regards, Mouse.
p.s i have upgraded my profile with myspace link if your'e interested

Greetings and salutations and well-wishes for a marvelous New Year to you as well...I hardly ever stop by this particular forum so I fall into the "Odly just passing through" myself.
