Mr. Obama didn't have the experience when elected, yet Mr. McCain was a bit of a joke too. we didn't have a truely great choice, in my opinion. in the end the people have spoken and we have to embrace the choice of our fellow Americans. McCain is a great war hero but as a politician his choices wouldn't be much different than Obamas! before anyone mentions any third party member we all know they never get elected all they pull off is to take votes away from either of the two major parties.

That of course is one of the faults in basically a two party system. Right now up here in Canada we have 5 federal parties and basically we get minority governments which means that deals have to be made with other parties to get enough votes in the House of Commons to enact legislature. Therefore things are always modified to take in a larger demographic of the population. In effect, all parties have a hand in governing the country at all times because the boys and girls in Power don't carry enough votes in the House alone to vote in anything.
