Anyone have any hours using one of these pedals? I just got mine in today but my kit is at the ballroom and just wondered about the Longboard set up 'vs' Shortboard . Ive never played a Longboard pedal so naturally I set it up for Longboard. Nothing like pressure under fire ~ Any suggestions and info would be appreciated.

Well, since no one evidently has had any dealings with the pedal, except for Roger, then I will say this about that...Its FAST...its a very well made and designed pedal. Being able to switch from short board to long board within a few minutes was a big plus. The beaters are quite unique...in the middle of the beaters, there is a nylon composite insert and then Felt on the top and the bottom side of the ring type insert and they give you a sharp attack along with the typical felt "thud". They are much heavier than the DW 7000's although I use my DW's on the road kit and they are a superb double pedal.
Final opinion on the Demons...Well worth the expense and the case is very well made and very functional and it looks good as well.
