Recently, I've been giving thought to switching to a double pedal; not so much because the music calls it, but just for practice purposes and to strengthen my left leg. I found an item on the Pearl site that converts a single pedal to a double. http://is.gd/wY3GKT Has anyone used this, and can anyone offer a review or opinion?

Yup, works fine. Gears up easily and has quite a nice feel.

Thanks Roger. I have a P-120 that I think I told you about and how I got it, and this seems like the perfect next step.

What you'll get is a very fast light to pack accessory that allows you to play doubles on fills and endings. They are basically designed for drummers who only need doubles every now and then and are, like you, very strong, fast single. pedal players.
