Hi everyone! There is a new form of "multi rod" on the market, called the Flack Whacker. Bart Eliott reviewed them in Drummer Cafe, and there are some videos of pros (like Will Calhoun) using them on the website. I like 'em! They're a bit more flexible than dowels, and less inclined to snap. If they DO snap, you can buy replacement kits rather than needing to buy a whole new pair.
