Had to bring this up because I can validate this joke... I played guitar for 12 years in a few diferent bads and always wanted to be a set drummer (marched tenors/ quints in high school)! Finally in late october I bought a roland td-3ksv and a double pedal, and finally started playing a set!

Most bands Ive been in always have one guy...usually the lead guitar player who just KNOWS he is a drummer cause they all have a habit of telling the drummer how to play and what to play. Yeah, you know the guy Im talking about.

In my band its the bass player, but I don't feel singled out as he also tells the guitarist how to play guitar and even the trumpet player how to play his horn (although most of those directions are to play it like Spiderman horns, for those of you who remember the Spiderman cartoon from the 60s).
