Not much to do with drumming, but my daughter just returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan. I'm just screaming with joy that she came to no harm in any way shape or form. She loved being operational, but I kinda hope she just stays home!

It's going to take her a while, if ever, to come back to some semblence of life other than in that Hell-Hole. Some have yet to come out of it. Afghanistan is like a Cobra and we are the birds. You dance with fire for many a moon after Afghanistan. Drumming is what brought me out of the dance with my version of Afghanistan.

Great to hear she's safe. You should be very proud that she serves her country. God bless and keep ALL of the free-world military personnel who risk their lives daily, that we may live free.

GREAT news! I felt the same way when my son got back from 16 months in Iraq!
