I schedule a time to go for a run at least twice a week - I don't want to run before, but I make myself! After about 5 minutes, I forgot that I didn't want to go for a run! I also do weights about twice a week as well, just to keep my muscles in shape. Fire Service training once a week can be hard. Keep the variety in your exercises, and do things you like: i.e. if you don't like water, don't go swimming! Liven things up sometimes - if you can go running on a beach/sand, then do it, it's good for your ankle strength! Start off slowly, and always stretch! What sort of things do you like? Mental games? Water? Speed? Having some idea of your likes/dislikes would be useful to give you some suggestions...
