4-Mallets on a Drumset?
      Thu Mar 05 2009 02:59 PM (71.2.247.198)

As a music major in Paterson State College (now William Paterson College) I learned the 4-mallet method of playing marimba/vibes under Ray DesRoche. Later, I adapted the 4 mallet technique for use on the drumset. I've seen Billy Cobham do something similar. Has anyone ever tried something like this on the kit? If so, what did you think of it?
