Yes, my drum kit after 20 years still looks as new because iv'e cased it and packed it into the band van myself ( usually on top of amps). The best you can afford if you move your'e kit a lot will pay off.
A decent cymbal case in any cirumstance is a no-brainer.
Ragone is the brand i use.
